Job offer details
Responsibilities:
- clean the interior and exterior common areas of the building
- Clean windows on occasion
- take out garbage and recycling according to city schedules
- manage garbage, and disinfect garbage rooms
- sweep the common areas, vacuum the hallways on the floors, wash the floors of the lobby, stairs, elevators, and the basemen
- replace burned out light bulbs and neon lights;
- remove dust from common areas, elevators and hallways
- keep the exterior surroundings clean.
- Spreading salt in winter on landings and entrances; install winter mats and clean them as needed
- conscientiously manage the property to keep it clean and safe
- be able to carry out minor repairs such as oiling the locks, changing filters, notifying the management of any problem or necessary repair
Work environment
This is a full time position. The shift hours indicated are an example only.
Schedule:Day shift 7:00 to 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Conditions:
- Good communication in English and/or French
- Physically fit and safety conscious.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in a similar position in an industrial environment
Your remuneration and benefits:
- Initial salary of $ 20.50 to $ 22.00 /hr.
